Bondsman Weighs in on Teen Curfew

MOBILE, AL -- Teens in Mobile will face a city-wide curfew, starting November 1, which means that they will not be allowed on city streets weekends between midnight and 6 am and weeknights between 11 pm and 6 am. According to bondsman Michael Bush, one of the reasons for the strict measure is the number of teens heading to jail and getting into legal trouble. Bush notes that a growing number of his clients now are teens and many need his services multiple times. Teens who do break the curfew will note become Bush’s clients again they will be taken by police to a police curfew center. Teens who repeatedly break curfew will be fined and may face jail time.
