Bondsman Funeral Draws Police Presence

SAN JOSE, CA -- The funeral of San Jose bondsman Steve Tausan drew a police presence and police interest, as Tausan was part of the Santa Cruz chapter of the Hells Angels. Tausan was allegedly shot during a confrontation between club members. Tausan was allegedly shot by Steve Ruiz, another Hells Angels member, after a disagreement that began during Jeffrey Pettigrew’s funeral. Pettigrew was a city employee in San Jose and a member of the Hells Angels. Ruiz has not yet been found or apprehended.
