Charges Dismissed in Bondsman Case

CLAY COUNTY, IA -- Bondsman Richard Angle has had the false imprisonment charges against him dropped. The charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. The charges stem from 2009, when Angle of AAA Freedom Bail Bonds and another bondsman helped get Clint Robinson out of jail on bond. When the bondsmen realized there was a problem with the property put up for collateral, they allegedly detained a handcuffed Robinson for more than 24 hours until he could be brought back to jail.
