Gang Leader Admits to Shooting Bondsmen

Arthur Basaldua, a 29 year old Louisiana man, has admitted to shooting two bail bondsmen who were attempting to recover Basaldua in 2007. The two agents, Valerie King and Eddie Mackenzie, were both shot by Basaluda. Basaluda was wanted for leading a gang that transported stolen vehicles and methamphetamine to Lousiana from California.
Basaldua was found guilty of 20 out of 21 charges brought against him, including two accounts of attempted murder for shooting King adn Mackenzie.
