Bondsman Back in Business
MADISON COUNTY, GA – Double “O” Bonding has been reinstated after being banned from serving at the local county jail. U.S. District Judge Clay D. Land issued a court order recently putting the Madison County bond company back in business. The move comes after the sheriff of Madison County, Kip Thomas, wrote a letter to the bond company denying them the ability to serve at the jail. James H. Owens, owner of the bonding company, claimed that it was because he had supported Thomas’s opponent in an election. Owens alleges that he lost $5000 in revenues for every week he was not allowed to do business at the jail and he is suing to recover the money.

New Reality TV Show
TERREBONNE, LA – A new reality TV show, entitled Big Easy Justice, is premiering on the Spike TV network. The show is financially sponsored by Louisiana bondsman Tim Fanguy, who owns Tim’s Bail Bonds. Big Easy Justice will star Gene “Tat-2” Thacker, owner of Hook ‘Em and Book ‘Em Fugitive Recovery. Fanguy often works with that company and has said that his respect for Thacker is what led him to sponsor the show. The reality show will track Thacker as he tracks down fugitives.

Bondsman Finds Fugitive
KALISPELL, MT – Charles Pesola, a Montana Bondsman of Moonlighting Detective Agency recently caught a fugitive in Idaho after the fugitive made a basic online mistake. The fugitive, Samuel Haley Rose, created a fake profile on Match.com, allowing Pesola to find him. An informant for Pesola started an online conversation with Rose and persuaded Rose to meet at an Idaho establishment, where Pesola was waiting. Rose was facing a forgery charge but failed to appear for his court date.
